A member asked:

Is there a difference between klonopin (clonazepam) and the generic version?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No major difference.: Pharmacologically, both the brand and generic medication are the same. The only difference is the binder and the quality control. The fda allows variability up to 20% of available drug from run to run and allows the brand medication 1% variability. This is the major reason that drugs with a narrow therapeutic window, should use brand medications. With clonazepam, really should not be a problem.
