Not necessarily: Depending on your variant, perhaps no relationship, and this maybe instead, a co-morbidity. However, regardless, questions might arise regarding nerve pinching at elbow or wrist, and even a problem within neck, such as a "central cord syndrome". Have your doctor thoroughly examine you and decide further steps.
