Depends on how much: Gin is in the tonic. Safe drinking limits for women are no more than 1 standard drink (1.5 oz of 80 proof gin or other distilled spirits) per day, no more than 7/week and never more than 3 per drinking occasion. If you have a family history of alcohol problems, smoke cigarettes or have depression, you are at greater risk of alcohol problems. For men under 60, it's 2 standard drinks/day or 14/week.
