Pelvic joint: Groin pain radiating to the buttock in a thirties male is characteristic for pelvic girdle joint disorder. The buttock aspect of the pain is called sciatica. Pain generated by a sacroiliac joint can refer to groin and cause sciatica. Vertebral spine disorders characteristically do not radiate to the groin. If this persists an osteopath can diagnose and advise. Are you extreme sports enthusiast?
