Yes: Yes white strips do expire, basically the hydrogen peroxide in the strips reacts and causes it to expire. There should be no adverse effects to using expired white strips besides them not really whitening.

Yes: All withering products expire or loose some of their effectiveness with time. If they are old you can still use them. They are safe but may be less effective.

Yes, they do expire.: The whitening chemical has a definite shelf life. If the product is used after the expiration date, you risk nothing except possibly being less effective at whitening or completely useless. There should be no health risks involved.

EVERYTHING EXPIRES: Everything expires sometime bulldog and so will you. Expiration is the shelf life which all products need to have listed. If you use anything that has expired it may be still good or ineffective. Try them. The only thing you'll lose is time.

Yes they "expire": Whitening strips have a very limited shelf life. However, they can be safely used beyond their expiration date. Overtime, as the active peroxide ingredient degrades, the whitening strip becomes significantly less effective. The shelf life of the strips can be prolonged by keeping them refrigerated.

Yes they do expire: Most of the whitening products we use in our office have a shelf life of 18 months. Once the whitening strips expire, they will not cause any harm to your teeth, but their whitening effectiveness may be reduced or even completely eliminated. For best results, use your whitening strips BEFORE they expire. Even better yet, get your teeth cleaned first, and then apply new whitening strips.
