How much csf does a person make a day?

About 1/2 liter: The average adult makes about 500 ml (1/2 of a liter or 1/4 of a 2 liter bottle) of cerebrospinal fluid a day. The total volume at any given time is about 150 ml. This volume turns over several times (3 to 4 times) in a 24 hour period. Hope that this helps.
