A member asked:

How many bananas are safe for my two year old to eat in a day?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Banana Consumption: I'm guessing that no one can give you an absolute answer to this question. Bananas are an excellent source of potassium. People with normal kidneys are unlikely to have an issue with too much potassium as long as they have ready access to water. Bananas also tend to cause constipation. Bananas also are lacking in some nutrients so you wouldn't want to eat bananas exclusively.
