Either one: Also let feet air out, dry thoroughly after bathing. If still a problem, see podiatrist.

Make sure it's: Really athlete's foot, not something else that can look like it. If it is a fungal infection, it's been by experience generic topical antifungals aren't as effective as the brands. I agree that both Lamisil (terbinafine) and lotrimin are equal in how well they work though. You need to use it for at least 30 days, even if it clears up in a few days since fungal spores live 30 days and don't wash out.
