Equivocal opacities in upper right lungs what's the meaning of this?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

It means that the radiologist cannot tell what they are, and they are ambiguous about giving an opinion. Opacities in the lung are caused by infections, hemorrhage, embolism and cancer to name a few of the causes. Typically, cancer cause looks a certain way that is different. So, the doctor that ordered the Xray will go over with you. They have examined you, so they know what they are looking for.
