Vitiligo: Vitilgo is an auto immune disorder where your bodys immune cells attack the dark pigment cells in your skin. It coccurs in all kinds of people, but looks the worst in people with dark skin, since the vitiligostands out against the darker regular skin background.. There is no cure, and treatment is difficult. Darker spots on the skin is the opposite of vitiligo, and can occur from a burn or injury.
Created for people with ongoing healthcare needs but benefits everyone.
