Maybe: This is not a standard treatment for migrainous type headaches, but there is no reason not to try it. Each person typically has a basic migraine pattern. Migraines should resolve on their own at some point and the simple act of sleeping in a comfortable position may bring about a quicker resolution. It is helpful to be aggressive with treatment as soon as you notice a migraine is coming on.
