If you have been : Sexually active, then go ahead and take a home pregnancy test now so that you know one way or the other. Take care.

Certainly possible: If you are sexually active with a male partner and you miss a period, pregnancy is certainly a consideration, especially if you had unprotected or incompletely protected intercourse. Any other symptoms (morning sickness, breast enlargement or tenderness)? You owe it to yourself to have a pregnancy test done; if it's negative you can explore other reasons why your menstrual pattern changed.

Missed period : Yes you may be pregnant and actually the first test you should do is a pregnancy test and if negative i would advise to see obgyn for further work up.
