Migraines and fever: Migraines do not have fevers and chills. Check your temperature. If greater than 99.0 f with chills and you're having a bad headache, you should get checked out immediately. Go to an er if it's late.

Headache and fever: If you have a headache with a change in your mental status, stiff neck, seizures, or decreased responsiveness, these may be early signs that you have an infection in the brain and you should proceed to your nearest hospital. On its own, though, a headache with fever and chills could just be part of the flu. If its not relieved with tylenol (acetaminophen) or Motrin then get checked.
