Receptive &/or : Expressive Language Delays & difficulty with rhyming & sound-symbol association are risk factors for dyslexia later. Read Mother Goose rhymes to her. Make silly rhymes like "M-moose, G-goose" & ask her to think of more, like "L-loose." Use fridge magnet letters that she can feel & trace. Soap her back in the tub & trace letters on her back for her to identify. Tell her teacher the family history.
