A member asked:

Intrathecal tumor at l-4 takes up only the left half of the space within the thecal sac, appears to have two nerves entering, possibly preganglionic segment of l-5 -- best to wait or have surgery?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Intrathecal tumor: Sorry to hear about this. It depends on the tumor (i.e. Will is grow) and if you're having any symptoms such as weakness or severe pain that isn't treated well with meds. These are important talking points to have with your neurosurgeon.
