Many possible reason: If you eat salty foods or high carbohydrate foods you can become thirst from a change in serum osmolaltiy or rise in your blood sugar.

Salt: Salt is everywhere, we eat over 8 times the suggested amount. Salt with also make you very thirsty. Eating foods with less than 250 mg of sodium per 24 hrs should help.
