Depends: Are you saying that your period came for a few hours and then disappeared for another month until your next period? Insufficient Progesterone or estrogen is likely the cause of that. If it hasn't been a month, say, only a few days, then it might be that your period is still to come. Irregularities in our cycles most commonly occur when estrogen and Progesterone are not in the right ratios.
