Nanny : If your nanny is ill, she may have picked up something from the cat. I would therefore keep you child away frm the nanny until she gets a clen bill of health from her doctor.

Unlikely: Worms are generally transmitted via feces (poop.) assuming normal hygiene efforts (effective handwashing after contact with poop on the part of the nanny) it is highly unlikely worms could be transmitted from her cat to your family.
