Rare in 21 year olds: All lymphomas are rare in 21 year olds; there are no common ones. In general, the indolent lymphomas can grow very slowly with a natural history over years. These may not need treatment right away, and usually shrink very rapidly with mild chemotherapy and/or low dose radiation, but are difficult to cure and often return months to years later. These low grade disease are rare in young men.
