See below: The newest evidence suggests that there may be a very small increased risk. You should stay on the Cipro (ciprofloxacin) and speak to your doctor about it if you are concerned. More importantly, whether you're on Cipro (ciprofloxacin) or not, if you have new/worse flashes or floaters or loss of vision, see an eye doctor immediately.

No: There is risk of retinal detachment from any antibiotic, including cipro (ciprofloxacin).
