CDC guidelines: CDC creates guidelines for treatment of acute and chronic epididymitis. Chronicity is defined as greater than 6 weeks of symptoms. The most common treatment is to treat for both N. Gonorrhoeae and C. Trachomatis (Chlamydia and Gonorrhoeae).
