Panniculitis: The technical name for inflammation of fat tissue is "pannicuiitis". The most common panniculitis is erythema nodosum, which can be caused by a multitude of things, including pregnancy - although it should have cleared after you delivered. Have your doctor look for other underlying causes, such as lupus.
