Nuvaring: You didn't say if you had a NuvaRing in before or where you are in your menstrual cycle. If you are some time after the first week of your menstrual cycle, you may not be protected because the NuvaRing isn't spermicidal and you can get pregnant. If you are using the NuvaRing for the first time and put it in around the time of your period, you should be protected.
