EBV: Autoimmune diseases are due to combination of genetic susceptibility and environmental triggers . Ebv virus is one such environmental trigger. No definitive cause and effect has been established .. Ebv virus seems to be a suspected trigger as it establishes itself as a cohost in infected individuals and immuno modulates the host immune system leading to some of auto immune diseases.
