My ct angio done on 11.09.2013, shows calcium deposits in arteries & other blockages. they want to drill hole in calcium deposit to place stents. i want to know if drilling hole in calcium is safe.

Have your cardiology: Done a nuclear stress test or cardiac catheterization? Do you have any chest pain or symptoms of angina? Don't understand the drilling hole but i think you are talking about a percutaneous coronay intervention follow by stent placement. High calcium deposit make pci sometimes difficult. Are you talking about open heart surgery?
