Category C: A drug with a pregnancy category c rating means use with great caution in pregnancy only if benefits outweigh the risk. Animal studies show risk and human studies are not available or have not been done. I would not put my future offspring at risk for harm with a category c drug. Talk with cardiologist about transitioning you to a different med if you want to get pregnant.
