Hylands cough: Hylands cough medicine has no side effects , it is soothing with no after effects. The only problem is that its effect may not last the entire night.

Nasal saline : Use nasal saline and gently suction, cool mist and hydration are effective remedies. Cough preparations are not recommended generally, but the honey may soothe her throat.
