Heat and pressure: If you are sure that arthritis is the right diagnosis (since it causes joint pain and not typically numbness): you might do well with neoprene support gloves. Capsaicin products can help, but the fingers is a tough place to use it, and it has to be used regularly to get a benefit.

Separate causes?: Generally arthritis does not cause numbness. However numbness can be associated with connective tissue disorders and inflammatory arthritis. See a local rheumatologist to be evaluated for these. Your numbness may be caused by a separate problem which could include carpal or cubital tunnel syndrome and cervical radiculopathy. An emg/ncs can be helpful in the diagnosis. See a physiatrist or ortho.

Resting hand splint: Worn at night should decrease pressure on median nerve if you have carpal tunnel syndrome. But don't know if you have that or compression of the ulnar nerve or compression at the elbow and not at the wrist, or in neck. An evaluation by rehab doctor (physiatrist) for emg/ncs, a test that will determine how health nerves in your hand are or a neurologist (for same test) can help.
