Raw milk: One of the debates surrounding milk right now is the consumption of "raw" or unpasteurized milk. Pasteurization kills many pathogens that occur naturally in milk, such as listeria and coxiella (which causes q-fever). These are especially dangerous in pregnant women and young children. Pasteurized milk is safe and healthy when consumed as part of a balanced diet.

Safety of milk: Cow milk is safe! depending on your age, you can chose to use regular milk with full fat content ( about 3%), 2% (only 1% less, not 98% less as people may think), 1% or non-fat. Non fat tastes like water! if you are old enough, like 40 years or older, and drink full fat regular milk, it is just like you drink non-fat milk and add a bid spoon of butter onto it. That is where the danger is!
