Panic Attacks: One can learn, through exposure therapy, to handle the physical sensations of adrenaline (which is what triggers a panic attack) without panicking. Adrenaline lasts about 10-15 mins and then shuts off, unless you tell yrself it will never end which releases more adrenaline. If you can remember this and try to relax it will pass. Find a therapist who is trained in exposure based therapy for panic.
