An increased: Frequncy of bm's with ibs is not unusual and may be related to the fiber. Some lower abdominal discomfort is not unusual either. A seratonin -norepi reuptake inhibitor, like cymbalta, (duloxetine) may decrease visceral symptoms better as it does with arthritis but consider going in to get seen, some immodium may help the recurrent bm's.
