An increased: Frequncy of bm's with ibs is not unusual and may be related to the fiber. Some lower abdominal discomfort is not unusual either. A seratonin -norepi reuptake inhibitor, like cymbalta, (duloxetine) may decrease visceral symptoms better as it does with arthritis but consider going in to get seen, some immodium may help the recurrent bm's. Good luck.

Lexapro (escitalopram): Doubt it is related to lexapro (escitalopram). Would advise workup by your pcp.
