A member asked:

What could cause me to have goosebumps if i am not cold or i am not afraid? could my anxiety be causing my random goosebumps?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Possible: Goosebumps can be caused by anxiety and fear. May be related to biological effect of puffing hair out when an animal is threatened to make it look bigger so as to be less a target. May also be accompanied by shivers. This is common when we are scared.
