Depends: Depends on whether the affected area is completely scarred or only lacking adequate blood supply. Scarred area cannot improve. Areas with poor blood flow may recover and improve with stenting or bypass surgery. Usually imaging and/or angiography helps determine the best treatment option.

It depends: On whether there is scarring or ischemia - or as is most common, a little of both. Ischemic areas do not get enough blood flow, but anything that improves that can improve cardiac function. This can be done with meds, and / or interventions. Your doc can be a big help.
