As an adult if some joints wear unevenly (causing more or less pressure), will this lead to osteoarthritis within 25 yrs. or so positively.

Certainly if joints are "wearing unevenly" there is greater likelihood of deterioration of the joint due to biomechanical stresses. The timeline is not predictable to such a degree. In some cases the damage can accelerate in a few years and, in others, decades or not at all.
