Possible: To be picked up by sonogram , better tests are available to pick kidney lesions in much earlier stages than sonogram.

Likely: Kidney cancer is usually seen either on a ct scan or ultrasound.

Kidney cancer: Renal ultrasound is a way kidney tumors can be found; ct scans without and with dye is the primary way we evaluate these lesions prior to surgery.
