Drug interaction: Topiramate (topamax) can provoke unplanned pregnancy in women using estrogen-containing contraception by speeding up metabolism of estrogen. Get a confirmatory blood HCG test to know with certainty whether you are or aren't pregnant. Progesterone-containing contraception will avoid this interaction for the future. Good luck!
