Can the cervical discs be affected by a rapid lack of estrogen?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

A decrease in: Estrogen creates accellerated bone loss which can cause compression fractures in the spine. These usually occur at a much older age and are not directly problems with a disc. The good news is that tamoxifen acts like estrogen on the bone, preventing loss. Good luck.
