so my dr gave me oxycodone 5mg with no tylenol (acetaminophen). for pain but it doesn't help the pain what can i get thats stronger but wont give me a head rush?

Oxycodone: This is a great question - firstly what pain is being treated? Do you need an anti-inflammatory as well? How bad is the pain? What other modalities are being tried at the same time?

Weaker: Tylenol (acetaminophen) #3 is tylenol (acetaminophen) plus codiene, roxicodone is oxycodone. It is more potent than tylenol (acetaminophen) #3.

Yes, as long as: The total dose of tylenol (including the one in the (oxycodone/acetaminophen combo) doesn't exceed 3 grams for prolonged periods.
