Probably not: Intermenstrual bleeding is common on the 'mini-pill' and if you are truly using condoms each and every time for the entire act, it is unlikely to be pregnant. I do wonder why a 17 year old would be put on that type of pill however as they tend to be very technique sensitive and not as effective as combined pills or other long acting reversible contraceptives.
