Many viruses: The "common cold" is caused by many viruses, though, as you point out, rhinovirus is the most common accounting for 30–80% of colds in a given season. Others include a type of picornavirus with 99 known serotypes, coronavirus, influenza viruses, adenoviruses, human parainfluenza viruses, human respiratory syncytial virus, enteroviruses and more.
