See a physician : Er trip not necessary per se but an evaluation by physician who can get more history, perform a physical including vital signs to assess you for signs of dehydration. Stool tests may be indicated and helpful as well as some blood tests, all of which do not require you to go the er. Evaluation and necessary tests could be done at your doctors office or urgent care clinic.
