No: There are no supplements that will lower uric acid to an appreciable degree. If you have gout, then you need to be on meds.

NO: There may be some supplements that can lower your uric acid level but every day that it is too high you are tearing up your joints wheather you feel pain or not. Best bet. Take the drug that your doctor is offering and recheck your uric acid level. If you can find something in the supplement department fine but verify with blood test.
