Yes: Z-pack (azithromycin) and Clindamycin are not in the same category as keflex. These are safe alternatives to keflex.

Why: All antibiotics are not the same. They are prescribed for specific reasons and diseases. If you have been prescribed Keflex and you are allergic to cephalosporins, i would contact your doc immediately so he can switch it t.

Probably, but...: Keflex is a cephalosporin, and there's a cross-reactivity to penicillin based antibiotics. Zpack is erythromycin, and neither it nor Clindamycin are penicillin based antibiotics. No real concern of cross reactivity here, but, of course, a separate allergy could be present. Good luck.
