Cough related pain: Cough is a complex action that requires the participation of differrent muscle groups including the abdominal muscles.It is a forceful act and with weight gain it will require more effort. This may also be related to muscle strain. It is also adviseable to exclude the presence of abdominal wall hernia, and weight gain my definately be associated with this condition.Check also the reason for cough.
