What would cause the right arm go numb?

Arm numbness: It depends on where the numbness is located. The most common cause is cervical disk disease. This can affect the whole arm up to the fingers or part of the arm. If only the thumb index and middle finger are affected this could be due to carpal tunnel syndrome. If only the 5th and 4th finger are affected this could be due to ulnar nerve entrapment. See your doctor.
