Monitor/Do nothing: With any medical diagnosis, 'doing nothing' is aka monitoring for a defined time and recheck to see if progression occurred. The risk benefit analysis is in favor of monitoring until serious complication is emminent. With a leaking heart valve, dilated heart chamber, decreased exercise tolerance, are watched with echo. Each case is different, so stay in touch with your cardiac team. Be well.
