A member asked:

Why does my voice become croaky for no apparent reason?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Needs a look: The possibilities are myriad: mucus from post nasal dripping, swelling from reflux, mass(es) on the vocal cords, poor articulation...You should see an ENT who specializes in voice to explore your problem in detail and have an exam which can help get to the bottom of this.
