No: Evista is an estrogen receptor modulator, so it impacts some estrogen receptors but not others. It does not cause low vitamin d levels. Lack of sun exposure causes low vitamin d levels.

Not really: Evista is prescribed to help treat/prevent osteoporosis. But the patient must have adequate calcium and vitamin d intake for maximum effectiveness.

Works better: According to the drug info if taken along with vit d and calcium along with weight bearing exercises if able. Chat with your doc befor you start any supplement or any otc meds.
