Can evista cause low vitamin d?

No: Evista is an estrogen receptor modulator, so it impacts some estrogen receptors but not others. It does not cause low vitamin d levels. Lack of sun exposure causes low vitamin d levels.

Not really: Evista is prescribed to help treat/prevent osteoporosis. But the patient must have adequate calcium and vitamin d intake for maximum effectiveness.
