Absolutely!: There are several factors and components in smoking that can undermine the proper healing of oral tissues. ...And no.. I am not here to lecture anyone regarding the negative effects of nicotine in there, but the temperature of the smoke, and the mucosal dryness associated with it , among other factors, is enough to negatively affect the healing process.
