can herpes prodrome last a month?

1 doctor answer
Dr. Timothy Raichle

Not typically: When you have a herpes outbreak, the symptoms and eventual outbreak itself usually play out over the course of a couple of weeks. If this has been going on for a month, then go get checked out to figure out what else might be going on.
